Can Calypso check this?

My smallest probe is 0.8mm. Is it possible to check the dimensions and radius? I'm thinking it's not possible and would have to use a different inspection method.

Everything is 4 place decimal, What's the tolerance ? Short answer is That yes, you can check this. It won't be easy and it will be a bit variable on results. Do you NEED to check it on the cmm ?

Probably, I would go with 0.5mm probe or 0.6mm may be largest that would fit.

I would measure probably 5-7 single points and constrain location (X,Y,Z) in Characteristic Eval.

Good luck.

They all are ±.010. We have an optical comparator but wanted to see if this can be checked with CMM.

Can you explain "constrain location (X,Y,Z) in Characteristic Eval"? I have never use constrain before.

Under Evaluation in the feature tick the two coordinates of whatever work plane
the feature is in, this will optimize feature size.

Conversely, ticking Radius will optimize the feature location. Or in the characteristic
right click on the feature and open Evaluation Parameters to do the same thing.

Kink point works great. As far as the radius size goes, I'm pretty certain the tolerance is wide open so a couple of single points will get you an acceptable result.
