[To...]
It is not possible to set up probe rack, as in your picture (tasterracks.png) with RDS. It only works for active sensors (VAST, VAST-XT)

[Gr...]
You can create a functional, though not visible rack within the planner for the VAST XXT head. I will do my best to guide you through this. There are a couple of things that must be established before the rack is created. First the CMM Configuration is defined properly in the System Set Up. Second you need the master stylus is loaded and qualified at A-90.0 B-0.0. Now the rack can be created. Open Manage Stylus System and click 4th icon from left (see picture 1) The Simulated Rack Window will open (see picture 2) Click on the edit pull down window and add stylus system holder another window will open where you can select the XXT you are looking for then it will ask you to name it, In this case I called it Rack 1. You will now have a rack created as shown in picture 3. From the Changer pull down select Define Holder Location (a window might appear that asks to define stylus length just hit OK and this will automatically be done) from here a window Request will open just select OK (see picture 4) After all the above is done you will have a rack defined (see picture 4 note color change) that you can load your stylus into just as you would on the actual machine. You can add additional 3 positon holders to rack from the edit pull down as described above. Hope this helps you. After I loaded the pictures I noticed the order I wanted them in is reversed. The first picture is at bottom and are in order bottom to topRack 5.jpgRack 4.jpgRack 3.jpgRack 2.jpgRack 1.jpgProbeSys.jpg

[No...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Welcome to the funny world of Calypso! 🤣 You cannot even create a Promax moveable rack, although we're using one for 20 years now. That's why I ceased trying to simulate my real machine setup very soon after getting our offline seat. All that extra sim stuff is neat and shiny, but quite useless in the end. All I'm doing is simulate the stylus and the probe head. Everything else happens in my brain 😃
