[St...]
Can someone please tell me how to change the probe angles on a new stylus I just created? There must be a very simple step that I am missing. Thank you. Steve
[Cl...]
There is a small icon top right next to the stylus drop-down. Open that and you can change the angle/rotation. Once you've got those set, click on the icon right below the B drop-down (Rotates the axis on the machine) to rotate the XXT.
[St...]
Do you mean in the RDS RC position window? After I click on the icon with the arrow pointing to the probe, the probe angles change but my new stylus still has A0 B0 when I select it. [To...]
Without knowing exact condition of your stylus system, let's clarify something first. Have you created your stylus system as an RDS-CAA stylus system or with many single stylus positions at specific angles? If the latter, how did you create each of styli? Did you index to a specific A and B, then click on Create/Insert New Styli? If so, the A and B positions will be in the properties of that stylus. If you need to correct the A and B values because the current values are A0 B0, click the Stylus System Management icon (top left icon in the probing qualification window). Next, click Geometry in the tree at left. Locate the stylus number at right, enter desired angle in A and B fields. Click Apply Repeat for any other styli. Then, qualify all of the styli you changed. Hopefully, we're getting closer to solving your issue.
[St...]
That fixed it. All styli were created individually before I came here. This is the first time I needed another one. I will change the probe angles before I do it next time. Thank you very much Tom.
