DWG File Import with PMI

Hello Team,
     I was just asked to interpret some drawings from Inventor but I do not have the necessary software to open up .dwg files. That being said, can ATOS import and interpret the required information in .dwg files so that I may have access to the information presented to me via inventor?
If not, what alternative files type should I ask to receive all necessary data? Including PMI. 

I wonder if it is a matter of having the right front end interpreter to elements in the .dwg file that fall under PMI data.

Hello , gom software does not support .dwg , this is a 2D format.   In the help area of the software search for 'CAD import' this provides a helpful guide on what is supported, including PMI within format.
