[Ra...]
I have two planes that are parallel to each other. The one on the top is not as wide as the one on the bottom. They are called out by a certain distance from each other. Instead of using points and spreading out the points in a meaningful way. What are some other and better alternatives to getting good measurements for this. One problem i have is the plane on the bottom is wider , so i would like to only use the area that is below the plane on the top. - Is there a way to split 1 plane into two separate planes? - can i use grid method for measuring, i know i can but how can i only measure the area directly underneath top plane. what characteristic tool would be useful in this when you have a distance and a tolerance value called out.
