OK.

I mean MMC would mean a feature of size, but on a Profile - what is exactly being determined as the feature of size (especially in this case).

edit: And for both, datum has to be feature of size.

Unfortunately they didn't put a specification on the square.

What you see on my drawing is exactly how it is on the customer's drawing.

Richard, Is there any note: stating something like the cad model is the master for all dimensions not shown on the drawing? If not, then this really doesn't make any sense.
I have a similar print, with no datums, and a .020 Part profile, unless otherwise stated. We had to bring this up to the customer and ask more questions as to what the intent of this profile was for. They told us they basically want the part to match the model. within .020"

THE ITEMS DEPICTED SHALL BE MANUFACTURED AND INSPECTED USING BOTH THE COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) DIGITAL DATA FILE AND THE DRAWING.
UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ON THE DRAWING.
THE FOLLOWING APPLIES:

5.1 FEATURES IN THE CAD DIGITAL DATA FILE ARE BASIC IN SIZE, FORM, LOCATION AND ORIENTATION.
