[Ha...]
Hello, I am a new Calypso user, there is a issue with space point probing. I am inspecting a big plastic part with big deviation(estimated about +8 mm). retract distance set 20 mm;. while probe moves to the space point along retract distance, program stopped running and showed information "33 Collision lost of commands possible". I guess there should be a effective probing range for space point. Maybe +8 mm deviation is out of the range. How to reset the range or any other solution? Thanks for help in advance!space point.png
[Ow...]
?. Are you actually running the part on the CMM or in simulation? I guess it could be the search distance before or after setting but, I don't think that would cause a collision error? You can go to the measurement plan editor features click the drop-down menu and select probing and there you can set the distance before and after the nominal. I'd also set the clearance distance to Zero.
