Question regarding Cad feature-cad entity

Im using this tool to take create a profile at the top of my part. Is there any way to delete a portion of the sectioned line by using a tool?

CAD>Creating features... will also allow you to create a cross section of a part that has a profile tolerance.

Once in Creating features, go to the Section tab and designate the directional axis, length, width, and center coordinates of the section. You can also click and drag the corners of the section preview plane after the directional axis has been established. Once the preview plane covers all aspects of the part that have a profile tolerance callout, click Section. After a section has been created, you can then go to the Hierarchy tab, expand the dropdown list of the created section, and this will allow you to delete individual pieces of the section before using it to create a 2D Line for the profile.

If this doesn't do what you're wanting, I would adjust the start/finish height of the feature measurement strategy.
