[Ra...]
I have a stylus that likes to go to a position that is not desired right after pickup. I would rather have it go to its z- position straight after pick up. Is there a option where i can tell what position to go to right after pickup. Right now it will go into the my 45 degree position and then go to z- position. Any help will be nice, thank you.
[Ri...]
It goes to the last qualified stylus. I always perform a geometry qualification on my #1 (-Z facing) stylus at the very end.
[Ja...]
For now you can try, go to stylus probe qualification window -> pick up that stylus system if not already on the probehead -> select the -z position from drop down list and let it rotate to that position and then press OK. It should do the trick. You can check by storing and picking this stylus system again.
[To...]
The RDS remembers the position it was in when you close the Probing System Qualification window. Which is likely after you qualified a stylus. This is why people think it was the last probe you qualified. So, before closing the qualification window, index back down to 1 -Z stylus and then close window. Sorry Jayesh. I just noticed your post... 😃
