[ad...] Posted March 9, 2021 Share Posted March 9, 2021 Hi All, I hope someone can point me in the right direction, one of my CMM's repeatedly stops when checking the temperature of the part which is automated through FAC's. The temperature probes read correct atmospheric temp & are in OK condition. Can anyone explain or provide me with a error catalogue for 488 CAN Device. Thanks in advance. [De...] Posted March 11, 2021 Share Posted March 11, 2021 488 CAN (Controller Area Network) is a communication error. The CAN bus provides communication between most of the electronics used to operate the CMM. I've seen this error for everything from low air pressure to a servo controller going bad.
