Sensitive/Standard/Robust

I can't believe I'm just now asking this but when one is calibrating for Sensitive or Rubust, does the Master Probe have to have that same setting before calibrating a probe?

The only reason you need to select that is to make it the default setting. It still qualifies all three "forces". That is why it does multiple "death spirals" - it is qualifying at those different "forces" for you to be able to switch between them at any point.

To answer you question though, no. You can leave the MasterProbe at Standard.

Is there a way to change all of the stylus angles for one particular stylus to make it scan at 50% and sensitive without going through and manually calibrating it that way for each stylus direction? I have about 35 directions for a couple different styli that I need to change (the stylus is squeaking on the sphere during qualification).

There is no way (as far as I'm aware of) that you can not qualify an XXT stylus system without it performing it in all three behaviors.

You can change the probing behavior in the features settings editor, but this is on a program-by-program case.

I wouldn't worry so much about the squeaking, if it is the normal squeaking that happens when something is drug across ceramic.
