PiWeb Reporting Plus to SQL Server

Any database geeks out there?

Question from potential new Zeiss customer. Can data be transferred from Calypso to SQL Server via PiWeb Reporting Plus? Or, any other way. i.e. table file?

I understand it is possible with SBS or Enterprise but requires an API (available on GitHub.)

not sure if is the same for reporting plus but from SBS to Enterprise you can restore a database using these files:
\program data\Zeiss\Piweb\PiWeb.mdf ... PiWeb.ldf

PiWeb Reporting creates a database file for every measurement plan you run on your machine. You can see this if you go to

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO 7.0\workarea\PiWebReportingDatabases

It previously would create them in a .dfm format, now it uses a .dfs format

SBS/Enterprise uses SQL as the Database, and then all of your measurement plans, and results are stored inside of that database. You can export out measurement plan data, but it will only export out in either a .qdb format or .dfq.
