SAVE TIME WITH GOM INSPECT

DEAR FREINDS, 

When we change the alignment method, Gom take much time for calculating the result of the inspection. If we want to come back to the first alignment, it also repeats the calculation and take much time .So why Gom didn't save the previous result?..

Hi,

it's always a tradeoff. If we would have unlimited main memory and the unlimited hardware disc space the answer would be easy: Store all possible results of all elements!
But we have customers which creates 100 alignments (and more) in one project and if they combine this with a trend project and surface deviations it's getting not so easy anymore.

But we are aware of this problem and may be we offer in the future a solution which allows a faster switching between results in different alignments.

I think you can add an option in Gom which is "save this result" .After , it will be possible to see many results in on screen .
