60mm disk qualification

Hi all,

I have qualified/requalified several different diameter disks over the last 8 years with no problems until recently. When requalifying a 60mm disk recently, the disk has started rubbing the reference sphere as it completes the requal cycle. I have not had this problem with other diameter disks. What could be causing this problem?

Thank you in advance for you help!!!!!!

I have two things to try. I have not had this issue. These are wild guesses.

pulldown menu
extras-settings-cmm-probe-Maximum diameter
Mine is set to zero. Maybe try 60mm?

extras-settings-cmm-probe-movement
Maybe try it without short movement?

Good luck!

1- Christian, what I mean by "the disk has started rubbing the reference sphere" is, when the calibration probes have automatically happened, and the disk retracts towards the start position, it doesn't clear the reference sphere during retraction.
2- Tom, there is only 1 reference sphere in the system.
3- Erik, I tried both of your suggestions, and they didn't help.

I'm open to other suggestions.
As always, I thank you in advance for any help.

Thank you very much Dane!!!!!!!!!!
I never knew a position point could be put into a Calibration. I thought Calypso should have known how much clearance would be needed for the Disk, since it calculated the Disk's Diameter.
