True position Cone

5" cylindrical part, Datum -A- is a larger OD cylinder at one end and there's an OD cone with a spherical radius
tip (no point) at the opposite end that I'm evaluating for surface profile back to -A-. Now management wants the
position of the cone to -A-. I don't have much if any experience with position of cones, so can anyone lend some
advice on any particulars I need to be aware of, i.e., constraints, etc. ? I know things can get tricky when reporting
position of these types of 3d features.

True position of a cone is calculated the same as if it were a cylinder.
The location error at each end is calculated, then the greater of these two values is multiplied by two.
