[Ma...]
Hello, How do I construct a the DIA 1.375 bolt circle diameter that is made from the four DIA.250 holes?
[SH...]
Measure it as four circle or cylinders and then recall these holes as circle.
[Jo...]
There have been a few discussions on this before. It really depends on what you need to know. That print doesn't have an angle or radial distance as BASIC dimensions. It also doesn't have a "center" defined. Just to report a number for the drawing you could construct a theoretical circle with the center points. The pitfalls of that method is one point will always get filtered out in evaluation, and if those holes are not perpendicular it won't show up in results. You could build a functional datum structure using plane/center of bore, and middle of slot. Report positions with "additional" info and it will show angle and radial distance for individual holes. Another function check independent of other features would be position as a best fit set, that will ensure the relationship between holes is good.
