PiWeb Reporter - Validation

I had a question for folks in regulated industries - did you validate PiWeb Reporter as a distinct piece of software separate to Calypso, or treat is as an "add-on" to Calypso and cover in the scope of your Calypso validation?

In this context, I am in a medical device manufacturer and will have an 'Operator' user profile in Calypso set up to just auto-run the measurement plan.
