See my attached report. I am not sure what the lines identified with the longer Red and Yellow boxes. Sometimes this is the average of the fha & fhb on all 4 teeth trace and sometimes it is a lot different. I have checked parts that all of the fha & fhb are within 5-10um abd the fha or fhb shows up in red like the number in the small yellow box.

I have contacted Zeiss support but nobody can tell me what this line of the report is.

Thanks

It is supposed to be the average, but it appears that there are some issues with calculations. Make sure you are on the latest patch version, as I feel like I've seen this in a patch note somewhere.

Please check your tolerances which you defined for mean values for profile and helix (see screenshot).
If the mean values are out of the mean value tolerances (screenshot blue) the values go red even if your defined single values are inside of their tolerances (screenshot green).

Thanks for the info. I am tracing three profiles ,,,top, mid, & bot. I found out is is averaging each tooth at all three levels and the average number is correct, but the tolerancing I have in for fha is 15um but the average is still showing out of print. I am currently running GP 2014 and getting to upgrade to 2020. I have 2019 at our other plant. I wrote programs for them and ran them in 2019 and got the same result. I am going to try to write a program in 2020 as soon as I get it up and running.

GEAR PRO can´t seperate the mean value calculation for the different measured levels.
Mean value is calculated over all measured profiles/helices in case of several features.
Sorry, the behaviour of calculation will be in 2020 identical to 2019.
