Star Probe Stylus Change.

When measuring with star probe, do I have to change stylus manually everytime for each star direction?

Is there any option to do that thing automaticly?

Assign stylus per feature using the measurement plan editor.

When probing features on part, pre-select which stylus to use and the feature will retain that selection.

When programming from a model, it is a good practice to do the same thing but a lot of people forget, me included. Like Clarke said, you can use the Features Setting Editor to edit the stylus assignments. You should also review your Clearance Plane assignments. Nothing worse than probing a feature with the wrong stylus and approaching the feature from the wrong side of the part.

I have used this quite successfully on many star probes and RDS styli. However, it doesn't work on RDS-CAA styli.
