Rotary Table Issue

Good Morning all.
I have a massive problem with ACCURA (Rotary Table + VAST XXT)
Basically it keeps loosing base alignment values. I did change the calibration from one sphere to two, low and tall sphere and it did improve, but only for a short time.

Example:

I wrote a quick program only from the table. Plane + center circle as a datum. I rotate 4 x times by 45°

180° True position of the circle is 0.1 (see attachments)

The problem is random. Is ok straight away after the calibration, but once I run any program the issue is coming back. Do not what to do really.. Zeiss engineers are not help at all.. All settings are ok I think (fitted rotary table etc.)

Any ideas ? Have you ever had this issue ?

Are you qualifying the RT at the start of each program run, or are you qualifying the RT, and then running the program multiple times? I believe the consensus is to qualify the RT at the beginning of each program run.

I am running 5 different CMM's and did not notice any different before or not. Do you mean open the RT cal program when the part is on the table or copy RT program inside the CMM program ?

This is the absolute best method, but not always necessary.

I have had great luck with the two sphere, as well as the cylinder methods.

A lot of it also depends on your parts, and fixtures.
