[Ky...]
All, I have part of a ring. ID radius 1.498. OD 3.00. But there is only about 70 Degrees of ring. The end of the part which is .500" tall X .300 wide is Datum A. The inside radius 1.498 is Datum B. And the bottom of part is Datum C. The customer is calling out for position of holes on radius that are thru the radius .01 to A B C. The customer calls out the Basics on the Datum B in degrees. How can I get Calypso to use degrees on this datum. Plus the way it is being call out in DRF is ABC. Shouldn't my primary Datum be Datum B. Datum A is so small I think it is hard to get a good reading. Thanks for your help Kyle

[Me...]
If I understand what you're asking for correctly, you need to change the feature to polar coordinates. Go to Resources - Feature Representation - add the feature you want to change and change the radio button to Cylindrical under the Position area. It will give you the radius and angle. That feature will also be in polar coordinates in a True Position characteristic as well.
