[Br...]
Currently we have a VAST XTR head, with all our adapter plates being XTRs. We use several vertical probes that don't have any rotation positions. We need to buy some more probe adapters as we are expanding more. Is there any reason we can't save some money and purchase VAST adapter plates (Zeiss Part # 600667-9611-000) for the vertical probes? I notice that our master probe uses the reference VAST adapter plate (Zeiss Part # 600667-9602-000), so I would think I could use them for other probes too, right? [Jo...]
I asked about adding another machine if I went to XTR, and was told my current XT plates would work. Obviously you wouldn't have the XTR ability.
[To...]
Yes, they can be loaded. However, the rack holder for the XT adapter plate will not work.

What you need to do is underneath the holder there is a adjustable kind of switch that makes you able have your XT plates loaded in the new holders. Rotate the disc until one of the pins lines up with the slot of the adapter plate.
[Br...]
I need help going the opposite direction from this post. I have a Vast XTR sensor and use a mix of XTR and MT adapter plates. Currently my MSR only has ZCR sockets. While trying to add a MT socket to my rack I only get the option to add a ZCR socket. Is there a way to program both socket types with a XTR sensor?
