[Ch...] Posted January 8, 2021 Share Posted January 8, 2021 I'm not sure this applies to your case; sounds like there is something going on. I don't use the RDS head so i'm not sure. What I am sure about, is the beep some joystick boxes is very sensitive. I feel like I get random beeps sometimes on one of mine. On that same joystick box, I can tap on it and make it beep. Random fact, if you ask Zeiss if an older joystick box will work on your new cmm they will say no or not recommended; but I've had a tech test out my old joystick boxes on my new CMM's and they all worked fine.
