[Si...]
Hi, I have Part that I created 2 Programs for. One for each side and we have a fixed head Contura. How could I in the future, take a part and do a Part flip and continue on rather than making two programs? Any Guides out there?
[Ch...]
I have a document on this but I can't find it now. It was mostly inspired by Owen and I know he's got some good stuff one this. You can search "flip part" on this forum and scroll to page 12 and read some old threads on this. Also, the old forum had some good stuff too. [Ch...]
Silvio, Here is an old one. I have since made a newer one that had more options, but this should give you a general idea.flippy_cup.png
[Kh...]
You can try put a stop when change new probe for 2nd side, let operator know to flip the part and create new alignment for 2nd side.
[Me...]
Hello, does anybody know how to show and hide CAD file during the run of the program ? This can be interesting for part flip. Thanks Guillaume
[Mi...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Go to CAD>Modify CAD Entities and select the "Hierarchy" tab. Then find your model in the list and either uncheck the box next to your model or, right-click and select "Hide Feature". If you want to see it again, repeat the steps listed above except, select "Show Feature Again" if you choose the right-click method.
[Ow...]
You can also go to the file menu, scroll down and select cad load settings and then chose which option you prefer in the window that pops-up. Merry Christmas.
[Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I think someone figure out how to do that with PCM . There is also a post showing how to load two cad models, and manipulate the second one to the other alignment. During programming, just toggle the view on or off. The two cautions are, base alignment governs clearance cube, and profile or freeform may have issues "fitting".
