Path to settings folder?

Does anyone know where Calypso stores the path to its settings folder in C:\users\public\documents\Zeiss\ ?
Is it some config file? Or the registry?
We accidentally uninstalled Calypso 2018 and after reinstall it no longer points to the CALYPSO 6.6 folder, but is now using just CALYPSO, but the data in there is outdated (why??). Of course I could just rename the old folder, which still exists. But I would much prefer using the CALYPSO 6.6 folder again. So what do I have to edit to force Calypso to do so?

@Zeiss: what an inconsistent way of storing the settings! Doesn't it require extra programming effort to decide on each installation whether to use "CALYPSO X.X" or just "CALYPSO"? Why not just use the version number every time? Doesn't make any sense to me.

It will name the user folder Calypso if no other version of Calypso is installed. It will name the user folder Calypso x.x once a different version is installed in conjunction with the original.

Which setting are you looking for?

A workaround for your scenario could be to create a dummy Calypso folder inside of the Users folder which should force it to create a Calypso x.x folder.

That's what I also thought until yesterday... 🙁

I had Calypso 2017, 2018 and 2019 on my offline seat. The version currently in use is 2018. The settings folders were named CALYPSO (2017), CALYPSO 6.6 (2018) and CALYPSO 6.8 (2019).
Then I told my IT guy to uninstall 2017, but he accidentally also killed 2018. So I told him to reinstall 2018, thinking that it would pick up its former config folder CALYPSO 6.6 again. But surprise surprise, instead it hijacked the old 2017 CALYPSO folder, and now uses that outdated config. That's why I ranted about insconsistency above. If they wouldn't use such an odd way of naming the folders, errors like this wouldn't happen.

So, what am I looking for? I would like to have Calypso 2018 use the CALYPSO 6.6 folder again, without having to rename it, if possible. That path must be stored somewhere, but I don't know where that is.
