I have a questions because Below is the same curve profile reported with Bilateral one result, Bilateral two results, and
Curve Form.
What is correct to determine the value of the Line profile (see pictures) :
1: Profile Bilateral One Result – Takes the point furthest from nominal and doubles the result.
2: Profile Bilateral Two Results – Reports the minimum and maximum points along the curve
3:Curve Form – This characteristic reports the delta between the min/max points of a curve, regardless of the position of the min or max point within the tolerance.

I understand BUT: Profile Bilateral One Result – Takes the point furthest from nominal and doubles the
result Example :I have the Min (- 0.0164) point and MAX point ( 0.0063) : Result is 0.0164 x 2 = = 0.0328 for Profile Bilateral One Result
For Curve Form Result is 0.0228. (Min + Max = Result --- 0.0164 + 0.0063 = 0.0228)

The curve form not is the Min + Max???
Thanks

Profile Bilateral One Results - It can be interpreted as taking the largest deviation from nominal and doubling the results.

Profile Bilateral Two Results - Shows the maximum and minimum deviation results from nominal. Would need to double the largest deviation to get the Profile result.

Curve Form - Before PiWeb Reporting, this was the only way to form plot the Profile results. Unfortunately it requires you to setup alignments/evaluations (like best fits if needed) to have it show the correct results that make a Line Profile results. The form plot itself will show you the maximum and minimum deviation results from nominal. Would need to double the largest deviation to get the Profile result. The result that you get on the Printout is the range of the maximum to minimum deviation, it is not the Profile result.
