Multiple Databases

I have been running the same program for over a month. In PiWeb Reporting, it shows 3 different databases for that program. The first has the bulk of the inspections, but the other 2 have just 2 random inspections. I looked in the database folder, and 2 of the folders show the same program name but have what looks to be a date stamp on them. I guess what I am asking for is why does it randomly do that, and is there a way to merge the smaller files into the larger? I apologize if my description is confusing.
