[No...]
This morning I feel like an absolute beginner again 🤣 I have a big part which is almost too big for my CMM. The only way to safely travel around it with all probes leads over CP +X. But I need to measure dimensions in the XZ and XY plane. I'm trying to force Calypso to take the route over +X by placing 2x clearance data as the first items in the strategy of a X/Z circle. The first item uses CP +X, the second one is -Y, followed by the circle strategy. Safety distance is 0. The problem is that Calypso seems to ignore the second clearance entry. Instead it moves to the measuring plane of the circle and tries to move straight in from +X. What am I doing wrong?
[Fl...]
Have you blocked all the other edges in CNC-navigation? Isn't it possible to set the CP+X for the circle and give it enough clearance distance that it doesn't move through the part?
[Ma...]
Norbert, sometimes there is no forest but many trees 😃 🤣 Have you any drive Position in your "CP +X" ? So that Calypso drive with "CP +X" on this ❓ 😱 Cool dass es auch andere alte Hasen mal so geht 🤣
[No...]
I guess I'm getting rusty 😕 A +X clearance group together with a large clearance distance on every feature was the (quite simple) solution. Thanks Florian for pointing me in the right direction! My thinking sometimes tends to be too complicated...
