[Ma...] Posted September 22, 2022 Share Posted September 22, 2022 Hi to all, I try to use new GOM 2022 and I have to use the new function for construct a line between 2 circle tangent. I have to use the tangent line in Z, but it's not possible, as it's displayed in the images attached. I have to obtain the line showed in the last image. How to do? The main use of this function is for situations where the two circles are (mostly) in the same plane, where the solution is unique. In a situation like this where the circles are almost parallel, you simply get one of the many solutions, there's no way to specify which one you want. You will have to use a different function in this case, but I will document this request for a possible improvement in the future to give more control in a situation like this.
