[Ed...]
Hello my friends, Can someone know this problem? How can I fix this? In simulation mode I can work, but I can`t connect normally. See attached files for explanation. Thank in advice.Ekrānuzņēmums 2020-11-s21 171215.jpgEkrānuzņēmums 2020-11-21 171156.jpg
[SH...]
First you have to switch on the CMM machine, then only to start calypso.
[Ed...]
Machine is ON! And connected, that is the problem.
[SH...]
Then do the favourite option, restart..... Also check the controller and PC cable connected well.
[No...]
Please sign in to view this quote. But the error message says otherwise! This is some kind of communication problem between the PC and the machine controller. The reason can be anything from a simple software problem (restart) to a hardware problem. The latter can range from a disconnected or broken network cable to a faulty network card. Some machines use an additional network switch, which might be off or broken (check if its lights are on). Sometimes the power supply on these switches can fail.
[Ja...]
Did you try going into Extras-settings-CMM-and click on "connect"?

[Ia...]
Are the drives turned on? I've seen that message a million times, almost always when the drives weren't on due to insufficient air pressure.
[Ja...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I'm pretty sure i have seen it happen once long ago after a power outage or something. I don't remember. It was a long time ago, but I believe turning the drives on doesn't necessarily mean it is connected. I remember going in a clinking on connect solved the issue for me once. [Ri...]
This is type of error means that there was a communication error between the computer, and the controller. This error would not occur from the drives being off - it will actually give you an error telling you to turn the drives on. The first thing would be to restart the PC, and restart the controller. Make sure to turn the controller on before starting the Calypso software. If that doesn't correct your issue, make sure that the ethernet cable from the controller is plugged into the correct ethernet port of the computer (typically it will be plugged into the one direct to the motherboard - the one for the PCI-e slot is typically the one for internet/network). If that doesn't correct your issue, make sure that your IP setting for the ethernet card for the CMM are correct. IP address should be 192.4.1.55, and the subnet mask should be the default of 255.255.255.0. If that doesn't correct your issue, please call Zeiss technical support.
