[Mi...] Posted November 23, 2020 Share Posted November 23, 2020 Riddle me this batman... Been running the same program out of Auto Run for 4yrs. Runs at least 3x month. Today I try to run the same program and it hits the Left limit switch (X axis). Its never done this. I know I am close to the limit for the machine, but it has ran this way for years until today.... Can you adjust the limits in the X ? And yes I have the fixture set up in the same place and I have also shut drives off and re homed the machine.... Thoughts?? Ideas ??? Im racking my head looking at it and cant figure out why today its different from last wed.... For instance, if someone replaced an X+ probe with a new one that is a little longer, that would force the head to go further left to clear the CP. [Br...] Posted November 23, 2020 Share Posted November 23, 2020 I've had a similar issue on a Prismo CMM . Have you tried turning off the the controller to force the CMM to Re-Home? Shift+Return+ F12 for C99 controller F11 for old controller. I don't think homeing the machine solve the issue.
