Avoiding Freeform Surface Point Set Collisions

Hello all!

Is there a way to avoid collisions whilst scanning freeform surfaces using Point Set? As you can see in the image attached, there are areas that I'd wish to avoid measuring, however with Point Set it wants to plough straight through to the next point in the set without moving away from the part.
I've tried adding a Clearance height before the collision will occur, however this ends up after the Point Set. Any simple resolutions to this issue? The customer is hounding us at the moment to get it measured and out of the door.

Place clearence data between points, or edit clearence data to always go up by departure length.

Just tried that and the clearance point goes to the bottom of the point set again.

For future reference with anyone else struggling with this issue, you need to cut and paste the points required into separate points and then convert them from single points into Points Sets.

Yes. If you right click on the Point-Set you can break it into individual points. Then you can select the points that you want to group again, and right click to turn them into a Point-Set.
