[Da...]
Hello everyone I need some help understanding what happened with my inspection routine. Ive attached a screen shot of 2 reports both for the same part using the same preloaded data from measured points. You'll notice that the Polar angle results highlighted in yellow both the nominal and actual are the same, however on the bottom report they are different. the only thing that I changed between the 2 reports is the results in yellow I selected the feature I wanted a TP of and then selected the A and B datum features. on the bottom report I made another alignment consisting of the same datum features and then went in to the TP window and selected the new alignment. I'm currently using and locked into version 5.6.14.Capture.JPG
[Ma...]
Perhaps some soft issues - some versions can have some calculations fixed. Look for changes in versions of Calypso. Maybe another calculation or used masked points.
[Ja...]
Open your true position characteristic. Right click on the secondary and tertiary datums. See what fit is being used, then check the constraint tab and see if they're being constrained back to the primary. Then go into your alignment and see if they're the same.
