[Cl...]
I transferred several programs that use PCM from on Contura to another (which does not have PCM). The PCM in these programs is not critical in that they can run on a non PCM CMM. initially, I deleted the PCM before I transferred them. I forgot to delete a prompt that ask the operator a question. That question keeps popping up when I run the transferred program. Is there a way to get rid of it? Can I go into one of the program folders and delete that line of code? [No...]
Should be possible, but without any guarantee. Go to the program folder and open the file 'inspset' with a text editor (make a copy first). Search for the string '#parameters:' (without quotes) until you find the PCM commands in question. This assumes that you put them in a parameter field. Instead of deleting the whole text (be careful not to delete any quote characters or parentheses enclosing it) you can simply add double slashes in front of the commands.
