[Me...]
I have a .006 True Position (2nd picture) that I have a question about. Do I combine both ends of the Ø1.450 bore to create an axis for Datum A, or are they separate Datum As? There is also a .002 runout that makes this very interesting as well... [Cl...]
I would treat it as one.
[Ja...]
I also think that you need to scan both ends (.150 max depth) for datum -A-. If you are scanning them as two separate cylinders, I think it would be best to recall points onto one single cylinder and call that as datum -A-. Although a better approach would be to scan both ends in a single cylinder feature as datum -A-. I didnot get what you meant by getting a runout of .002, between which features are you talking about? [Me...]
There is a runout of .002 to -A- at the bottom right corner of the first picture.
