[Te...]
Did a little looking with search but would like some additional answers. I have never used it and have been asked by a customer about it. Does it only apply the bending principle or does in adjust the Sphere diameter as well? Also does this work for both a passive and active head? They sent me a program using it and I noticed a couple of thinks that make me wary about it. The nominal data for the diameter doesn't match the stated value on the Plug Gage (Is a Plug Gage Ok to use or do you want to use a Ring Gage?), it is smaller. Plus when I measure the Pin it is larger than the stated value. If it only applies the bend parameter I would think all is well but if it is correcting the Sphere diameter I all is not well. Thanks, Ted
[Te...]
So after using it I can answer a couple of my own questions. It adjust the sphere diameter because when you scan the gage in the Gage Correction Qualification and then scan it again the actual is the nominal entered in the Gage Correction Qualification diameter. I did this on a Duramax so it works with either head.
