Yes it is possible.
It is enough to open the version file in txt format in the raw prg data, delete the part that says v6.8 and write v6.4.

This answer is not correct!

Yes it is possible to trick the system into accepting the files, but this will lead to unforeseeable problems!

The reason why programs are not forward compatible is because with new Versions there are new features.
How should an old Version handle a program that relies on features that it simply doesn't have?

From 6.8 to 6.4, besides changing the version-file. You also need to delete inspset file.

But as Helge says, if they are using "new" functionalities. You'll end up with a cesspool-program.. And I think he tries to say "backwards-compatible".

Resources > Compatibility Settings > for this measurement plan > (scroll all the way down)Performance as if created with Rev> Drop-down choose version.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reaction! This looked like it was the solution but when I opened the program in V6.8 and set the parameter to V6.4 and opened that same program in V6.4 I got the warning that the program can not be opened..

After I pushed the help button and read the information from Calypso it said that this option is only capable of converting to newer versions, lets say from V6.4 to V6.8 instead of the other way around.
