[Mi...]
Hi All, I was wondering in there is a way to change the name of a stylus system without importing a SSC file? Back story: When we updated the software to 2020 on our three machines somehow one of our machines has a stylus name of 4mm Extended and the two other are named 4mm EXTENDED. Is it possible to make this change without having to requalify? Thanks Mike
[Me...]
Hello, this is how I would do this : 1) Export the one you want to rename (pcf) 2) Import the one you just export and then rename it (pcf) Don't know if you can rename in Calypso (seems no). [Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. If you go into the Stylus System Management, you can select, then right-click on the stylus system in question, then select copy, and it will prompt you for the new name. [Gr...]
Richard Shomaker is correct on how to do this. I Have more than once had to do this because some operators did not follow our naming protocol.
[Ja...]
Just out of curiosity, do you still have to change the probe name in each and every program to the new name?
[Ri...]
Yes. Someone did create a macro that helps do this for you. If you search for it on the forum, I believe you will find it.
