JIG check

Hi guys,

could you advise me, how is the best way to verify the new JIGs, they delivered to us from production?

What is the best method?
- align on the sphere?
- align on the RPS part to the JIG
- use the RPS 321 / RPS 321 free form alignment method
- use the best FIT align method

We use Calypso for measurement

In my experience its always best to use the same Datums that are used for location of the parts to verify conformity.

Let me add this. My first thought is to make the alignment of the jig a simple one to run under a manual alignment. After that, If those same features can be used to evaluate the function of the jig, that good, but often the fit/function results can be based on a secondary alignment, or the use of "Cartesian Distance", which actual has it own alignment for each measure, even if they are reused in several.
