Stylus System Creator issues

I'm having some technical issues, may just be my lack if understanding. I am trying to build a new probe setup, using a RDS-XXT 18p Adapter, Rds-XXT TL3, and a XXT-TL3 Adapter plate (620161-8175-000). When I try to add on a 40mm extension (602030-8304-000), i get an error of "You tried to interconnect two components with different connection types. During switched on type examination this is not possible", yet I do have it setup this way IRL. Any ideas?

At the bottom of the CAD view window, there's a quick settings gear. Open the dropdown menu and disable strict assembling. Best guess, since this extension is categorized as M3, and the XXT components are categorized as M3 XXT, SSC interprets that as 'different component types' and won't let you build it by default. Bit silly, but can be worked around.

"Switched on type examination" reads like a bad translation.
