Half a part?

I have an OD cylinder (primary datum) with stepped ID bores through the center that need their true positions checked back to it. The part is in two halves, each only about a 165 degree circle. What would be the best way to create the full 360 degree datum?
Measuring (as a cylinder) one half at a time, the 165 deg segments, and constraining them? Recall the points into circles and recall them into a cylinder, or 3d line? Does someone have a better idea?

If they are two separate parts, then you might actually have better luck use Free-Form to construct the cylinder. Just a shot in the dark.

I'm actually not a huge fan of constraints, but that's a discussion for another time.

The FF isn't a geometric shape that the software is trying to calculate with half of the data that it needs. It will not be affected like your Circle/Cylinder will be. It will save you from trying to constrain things.

Just a thought.
