[Ro...]
I was contacted directly via email with a Question that should probably be posted in here, but i don't see that this person is even a member of this forum, so i have no idea how they got my email but it appears to be a legit contact and not a Phishing email. There also seems to be a language barrier, communicating thru goog translate can be confusing. So my first issue is, is 5.3 bar too high?fgdjhkfdjhkfgd.JPG
[Ma...]
I have 2 manometers - one on the wall ( 6,4 bar ) second on Accura ( 5,0 bar ). I manuals should be written max air pressure for machine.
[To...]
I don't think I've ever seen a blinking green light before. This is the label they're putting on Conturas. My incoming "constant" air pressure has been around 85psi, connected to 3 machines and I've never experienced any issues due to air pressure loss. To be honest, I don't know what our CFM rate is. In some of the other places I've worked, the shop air is less than 100 psi for safety concerns but I don't know what it's like in "most" shops.IMG_4088.jpg

I dont know what my shop air pressure is set at, but since we use air instead of coolant for plastic medical implant machining we use A TON of air, so we have 3 big compressors trying to keep up with demand. My contura has a digital reg that is set to 5 bars, when it gets to about 4.7 bars all the cmm's start shutting down, but i don't know at what point over the cmm will start shutting down. Its possible this person might need 7 bars like you do, and if so 5.3 would be way under.

OOh i don't mind at all, i've had a bunch of people contact me over the years, especially with PCM and my side hustle thing on ebay. however this is the first time someone contacted me where i don't recognize the name, then they mention they "saw on the google" so i don't know if forum entries show up in a search if you put a general question about calypso. This forum is different than the PCD forum where i think everybody uses their actual name here, on PCD about half of the users use 'internet moniker' for their screen name. [Ro...]
Ooh S, i did a forum search and found out that the picture they sent me was a picture that I posted in a thread 2 years ago, and the problem i had at the time was a faulty motherboard in the box next to the cmm. So i sent them that bit of info, probably not going to be happy with that. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=610&hilit=blinking

We had a customer that had a lightning strike in their area and the PC stopped working. HP sent out a new MB right away. I had a MB failure and they came out a day or two later and swapped it out, no questions asked.
[Ro...]
Its not the PC, it was the CMM 'Control Box'. That thing next to, or connected to the back of the CMM.

Iam sure that guy was not lying, when I search something on calypso related in Google, Google navigate me to this forum. To be honest, this is the same story behind my joining this forum... Iam sure that guy is an Indian.. He has a serious problem...
