Mesh Segmentation - Find all cylinders in a mesh with given constraints

Dear GOM experts

 

I am working on automated measurements of 3d scans. I have piece of a irregular surface with one or more cylindrical holes. Problem what i have is to find where exactly is cylinder located if it exists . It looks mesh segmentation with option to find basic primitive shapes could be very helpful. Such option is available for example in MVTec Halcon software.

I guess , we dont have such option in GOM? Am i right?  - Find all cylinders in a mesh with given constraints (diameter between, length between).

And do You plan do implement such functionality?
