[Ow...]
Anybody had issues trying to or know how to mask the points of a 2D line in the features evaluation? Running calypso version 6.8.12. Opening up the feature and going to evaluation and selecting manual in the point masking , I can click on the green actuals and it will put a small square around that point but, only one point, won’t let me select more than one point even if holding down the shift or ctrl key. Tried clicking basically everywhere to no avail. It has the manual input tab that supposedly (according to the help guide) will open up the feature after it’s been run in CNC and let you choose which points to mask . This (to open after it’s run) would be a nice option on parts that the start and end points of the line vary because it’s allowed to. I can go into the strategy and select the line autopath and then choose the area to mask in the special settings tab but, this has to be done before the line is scanned and redone and re-scanned again if you want to change it. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I've never seen this before, but if you click on the top right icon, you can add a line segment. Then, you can drag the blue lines to where you want. (I currently don't have any data in my line). Or, you can edit the values in the fields. You can add multiple line segments, too. [Ow...]
When working with this late afternoon yesterday, It wouldn't let me put in a new line BUT TODAY it does. Probably because I hadn't restarted my computer in a few days ? Thanks Tom! You are the MAN!

[Ow...]
Finally had a chance to get back on the CMM and try this and it worked wonderfully. Feature scans the line and then stops and pops up the manual mask evaluation window so you can then choose what you want masked. You basically slide the lines to where you want it masked and select apply and then the feature closes and computes the data to the new non-masked section.
