2D Features way off on new model.

We're reverse engineering a part so naturally there is some back and forth with engineering updating CAD models. I wrote the program with the first model and had no problems. After a few measurements we updated the model and uploaded it into Calypso like normal. The program ran fine with the new model. I added a couple of 2d circles and space points and for some reason the nominals are WAY off the model. I tried adjusting the nominal points so that they are on the model and the CMM want to drive through the part. If I extract anything 3d it works just fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The Nominals may be shifted from the Cad when you pullout some more circles from the New-CAD. Try running the entire program in Off-line mode(So that all the Nominals will set to the New-CAD) then Run the Program in Machine. This is what I do.

Quick update. I'm having this same issue on a different CMM running a different part/program. When imported the model is not in the same orientation as the original so I had to reposition it. For example I am extracting a new plane and created a polyline. The vector points reflect the orientation of the models current position. The polyline itself however is in the position of the model as it was when I imported it. It's like the model is in two places at once although it appears correct on the screen as it matches the orientation of the original model. If I try and run the program the CMM wants to measure the new feature where it was before I repositioned it. I'm guessing it's something with the way I imported the new model but it's the same way that I have done it hundreds of times in the past.

I tried a few things and was able to get it to work properly. First I set the base alignment to zero. Then I went to CAD/CAD File/automatic healing and clicked on all four healer settings. I'm still scratching my head as to why but at least I was able to find a solution.
