UZ Callout...

There can’t be unequally distributed tolerance zones for positions. It should be a profile, like David said.
It it were a profile, the UZ states that the center line of the profile is shifted -0.05 mm (into the material), the tolerance zone is 0.1 mm wide.
So, the center line of the profile would be at 3.15 mm from the datum, and the allowed deviation would be from 3.1 to 3.2. Note that UZ works not the same way as the U modifier in ASME standard.
The distances are local distances from the global datum to the local profile, not local two-point measurements.

Still, since that’s an obviously flawed call-out, you should contact the designer.

This is just to show how the tolerance should be called out. Unequally, with all of it being at or above the surface.

Imagine that...

That took that crap off the latest Rev level. SO looks like I don't have to fool with it. I asked how this can be in the same FFC as a TP callout weeks ago. I got crickets ughh 🙄 🙄

So back to Defcon 5. Its been wiped. Who knows what they will come up with next

Thanks All
