[Cl...] Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 I always wondered what exactly healing a model does, specifically "Build Geometry". In planner, I imported a model that was missing a detail, so I created one. When I healed my created feature using build geometry. It actually combined that detail with the model that I imported. [Ro...] Posted August 17, 2020 Share Posted August 17, 2020 I never use "Build", i got burned a while back when 1 series in a family of parts for some reason shifted by about .004" inch after healing. of course i didn't realize this until production started and the profiles were all crazy. It took a day to find out that my models were crap but the models in the engineering folders were good. So i re imported the models and healed them and they were fine, but when i clicked on Build the models were messed up again. Long story short, i dont think ill ever use Build Geometry ever again.
