[Me...]
Hello, I'm having troubles measuring a gap (see photos). I tried a contour trace but measurements are off by +0.5~1.0mm. I then tried using a videoscope but my measurements were off just as much but on the negative (-) side. How would you measure the gap? Thanks in advanced.08102020-2.jpg08102020-1.jpg

[Ro...]
A bernz-o-matic propane torch & vise will allow you to bend a pin like a feeler gage. ZZ Pins are cheap.
[Cl...]
Repro-rubber. Works great for stuff like this. There are several types. We use one that is a bb size plastic type material, that when heated up with a little water, becomes malleable enough to take the shape of anything. When it hardens, remove and measure it.
