Well.I have to admit,that my point of view is contradictable.
Especially the tangent two circles.

LSQ is the only evaluation that is repeatable and verifiable for Radii inspection. Whether it is inspect with point or scans. The problem that you guy are having is that you are not changing the Constraints Default. If you want accurate data from Radii inspection, you will need the to leave the evaluations in the features as defaults. Such as LSQ and Filtering and Outlier methods left as Default in the Feature. Change them in the Characteristics. Change the Constraints Especially. If you want to know the accurate and repeatable size of a measured Radius, you will have to Constrain the evaluation in the measured directions (Example X and Y, or Y and Z, or X and Z). If you are measuring position of a Radius, you will have to Constrain the evaluation radially. Only do this for Radii and only do it in the Characteristics.

The L1 evaluation will do this for you as well.

I'm not a big fan of saying things like "the only way". That's too subjective.
