Haven't done that yet, but someone managed to pop off the little button on top of the joysticks, had to get a whole replacement joystick for $150. I managed to make it usable by putting some foam padding around the little plastic inside otherwise it would think your pressing it all the time made it pretty much impossible to do a manual alignment. Worked fine with the padding but boss insisted we got it fixed though zeiss had no other options except to sell us a whole new joystick, at least it was super easy to replace.
